Revised 2022 schedule, Pennames and more…

Hi people,

The year is passing by fast, and its almost time for my next release (written under a penname).

Going forward, I’ve decided to combine the patreon for both pennames and have updated my release schedule accordingly so everyone knows what to expect.

This year, I will be working on three projects primarily: Dragon Mage Book 3 (of course! :)), Gods’ Game Book 6, and Grand Game (Book 2).

Dragon Mage (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08QW4BNRS)

I’ve tried (and failed) to write multiple books simultaneously. As such, early chapter posting on the Dragon Mage Saga on Patreon will be delayed to July. At this stage, my target for Book 3 release is sometime in the second half of 2022 (I know, its far away!)

Audiobook production on book 2 is still on track for end March release.

Gods’ Game (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RSFR7K5)

Heading towards June 2022, this will be my primary project. I hope to revise/re-edit books 1-5 and release book 6 by 30 June 2022. In April, I will start posting early chapters of this on Patreon too.

Grand Game (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09817TNPC)

Book 2 of the Grand Game is nearing completion. I will post early chapters in March up until Book 2’s release on 31 March 2022.

Crystal Wars

Over the course of the year, I will infrequently post chapters on the Crystal Wars on Patreon. This project is very much on the backburner atm with no ETA.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to message me! Read below for an explanation as to the pennames.

Happy reading,

Rohan

What’s been happening in the background:

I know I’ve not posted much Feb-March 2022. It was not because I wasn’t writing. I was… just under another pen name.

June 2021, I started a pen name on Royal Road, Wattpad, etc.. (even before the release of Dragon mage) as a bit of an experiment into web serials.

To my surprise, the pen name took off, and the book proved a success! Unfortunately, that came with its own problems – now I have to jungle not two simultaneous series (dragon mage, gods game), but three!

Thus far, I’ve been trying to keep the pennames totally isolated from  each other and trying to release regularly under both (most of this year has gone into me finishing book 2 of another series), but  sadly… I’ve realized I’ve been failing to keep up with the demand of  both readerships.

So, I’ve decided to come clean (lol), reveal the second pen name, and combine their patreon sites, and otherwise reduce the administrative burden, etc…

To that end, this patreon will become the home of both pen names (and any works I release under either). To reflect this, I will rename the Patroen Page to something neutral to both pennames and update the tiers sometime soon.

To be clear, I will be continuing with all 3 series: The Gods’ Game, the Dragon Mage, and… The Grand Game. Waiting time between releases in each series however will necessarily be longer (I hope to release at least one book per series each year).

Just a word of caution regarding the difference between the pen names: Given the web serial origins of The Grand Game, books released under the Tom Elliot penname will likely be rawer and less polished than those under Rohan M. Vider.

Anyway, happy reading, and I hope you enjoy both sets of forthcoming works (or at least one!).
