This is a remarkable book for its interesting mechanics and thrilling battle scenes. Highly recommended.

Just an odd feeling but there was just something lacking in this book but still a good book overall just somewhere it needs a twist or turn. Something emotional felt like the character was just floating through the story

Tom does a fantastic job of character development and world building. I don’t always agree with his choices and when I don’t I find myself very frustrated which just goes to show how invested I am in the story.

Danger increases with every level up and achievement of the MC as he tries to secure his place in the world, save his friends and the realms. Looking firward to the next.

I have enjoyed all of the books in the series so far.

Books 3 and 4 were a great improvement from books 1 and 2 as the story really developed and we as well as the MC gained more knowledge and continually improved himself skill wise. The MC however, still acted like his arrogant insufferable self who continued to get angry or annoyed with everyone, growling at them when it was absolutely unnecessary and continued to get offended when someone used his words against him after he acted hostile or annoyed with them in the first place instead of keeping a level head. He did have moments where you actually rooted for him but many other times where you just had to shake your head and question his line of thinking. Maybe the 5th book will bring about some more good changes, but if you intend to read this, I recommend waiting for that book out to be able to get a more straightforward story instead of feeling like you're stuck on a cliffhanger. I don't mind cliffhangers usually but that's because I usually read light novels that are constantly coming out with new chapters every few days.

This series has quickly become one of my favorites. The world and character building are amazing. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book.

I'm not a fan of the game mechanics. The story however kept me in it from book 1 til now. Good read.

I love this book series as much as my dog. That's a lot. I enjoy that he has the same interest as me too. I enjoy this so much I bought the series on kindle, paperback, and hardcover. If you enjoy dnd then this is perfect for you as well. Keep reading. And tom, keep writing.

Enjoying all the twists and turns so far! The nether and their goals arnt really understandable but I enjoyed watching playing two powerful forces against each other. Didn’t really like where this one ended. Right on a cliffhanger, I’d prefer it end a little more in between.

Really liked this one. The MC played to his strengths and planned well. Looking forward to seeing Ghost level up.

A good story but now becoming an unnecessary longggggggggg time waste in reading. Skipped probably 100s of pages of repeating power creep n useless monologue.

Well worth a read. A solid LITRPG fantasy without over done statistics. The series keeps you engaged from start to finish.

Love the story and after binge reading the first five books, it comes to a screeching halt because I found out the author as interjected a new storyline with a novella and a full novel with the different character? I hope this wasn't politically motivated with some kind of social identity politics involved! The first five books have been such a great escape and a pleasure to read. I can't wait to continue reading this story and I hope the author can maintain the level of storytelling in the first five books as he continues this tale in book 6 which my understanding will be out in January of 2024. Outstanding series and I hope, no prey, that the high level of storytelling can continue as this is becoming easily one of my favorite all-time series.

I enjoyed reading this adventure story the hero works hard to protect his Wolf clan mates as well as helping others defeat the false Gods? Read and enjoy this series and future books!!!!

It's a fun read for anyone who has lost some time being addicted to a fantasy game

This was a great book, we found out new tiers of the Stygian power ladder and more lore on how they came to be and the importance of dungeons and the war between not only the powers and the houses but also the void.

Another action-packed romp with a new host of overpowered enemies to contend with. I never once got bored, throwing myself into Michael's slow and inexorable progression with steadfast addiction. It's a blast. If you liked the other installments, you'll like this one. I found the new setting, challenges, and characters even more enthralling than book 4. Excellent work Tom Elliot!

As good as the previous books. If in some series the quality of the stories goes downhill, this one does not have this problem. A great adventure.

Like all the other books in this series it is nice to have the MC be someone who solves problems more with his brain than just overwhelming force. This one was a bit dryer than some of the other books but still had plenty of periods of action mixed throughout. Looking forward to things moving along come the next.

Not much progress, the protagonist left one area and spent the entirety of this book in the next one. To top it all off, the author ends the book before the protagonist even officially makes it out 🤣🤣🤣. NOTE TO SELF: Don't buy anymore books in this series

It's a pure pleasure to watch Michael at work - a character that actually ACTS intelligently instead of rote exposition about how smart he is. What a series this is turning out to be! An exceptionally realized System - probably the best yet seen. Stats and mechanics that make organic, intricate sense. This is universe building on an enormous scale. A must-read.

This is a great series and I really wish there were more books to read. There was a lot of action and progression this book. The MC also makes more enemies as usual. I can’t wait for the next book, I might even go to patreon so I can keep reading.

Wolf themes always seem to go above and beyond. This series does not disappoint! I hope everyone enjoys this series as much as I do!

Worth reading, however, I really do not like books that take place over the course of a few weeks. My michael absolutely gained levels. The issue I had, though, was that it didn't feel like the story advanced very much. Everything in this book is contained in a small section of the world. While this may have ramifications I can't see right now, it does not feel like very much was accomplished.

Props to the Author , well done, another great entry to this series and a must for any fan of dark fantasy. Give it a chance and thank me later.

The anticipation is growing, more and more the MC and his allies lay the groundwork for a fun saga. The books are paced differently and it lends to the experience.

A nice dungeon delve with a lot of fights and upgrading but that manages to advance the main plot. A good fun addition to the series.

This series is a bit darker than I typically like. But, it's well written and entertaining. I'd like to see more character development and inclusion of other characters to the main plot.

The entirety of this book is a dungeon crawl scene with a bit of lore. It was long wait for a relatively simple scenario, hopefully the next book will have more going on.

I like RPG storytelling when the lists of the player don't detract from the narrative! I like the diagrams, the author created, showing the relationships between the stats for the player. That said, i very much enjoyed the characters, the action and of course the plot that keeps the surprises rolling! Great job

I like the style the author uses. His prose flows well and the editing mistakes are few and far between. The authors pace between releases really needs to pick up. 6 months is just too darn long. Doubly so when the book is essentially a side quest for Michael.

This was a really enjoyable book and I generally like The Grand Game and want it to continue MILD SPOILER The plot is mainly a whole book of getting Michael stronger, but I don’t really feel much happens in the book.

Great Book and the Game World is great. One downside is how the author ends his books too much of a cliffhanger that's annoying. I still love the series.

I stayed up all night to read this latest edition to this series. The game mechanics are fun, the, plot is not easily seen through and you never know what the MC will change or do which I really enjoy. Great fleshed out characters too! Fun read, my only complaint is the author making the MC a bit inconsistent (sometimes the MC is very smart, and then sometimes the MC makes very, very, stupid mistakes). It’s almost like the author doesn’t want the MC to seem OP so instead he has the character do really stupid things. Other than that, the series is a lot of fun and very enjoyable.

Good story I like the dark mood of the book and it has lots of good fight scenes. The problem is the book just kind of stops after the last fight. There’s still a lot of issues that have to be addressed, but are now going to be like a weird beginning for the next book. It seems like this author was trying so hard to do a cliffhanger ending that he just ended the book. Still, I have to say I enjoyed this book, and enjoyed the rest of the series. I’ll buy the next one.

The grand game continues but this episode is a little bit like a sidebar where Michael spends the entire time in a new dungeon away from any previous friend and pack. It’s still entertaining and I couldn’t put the book down so highly recommend but don’t expect to see any old friends or resolution of other quests/previous plot points.

This series is well written. It has it's own magic system and world history. I hope it can pull all the threads it has spun together soon. I am getting impatient for the next book. I read this book the day it came out.

Love this series and each book is entirely to short. Very addictive and once you finish you will be itching for your next infusion. Absolute must read series, that will be in your top 10 of series read, if not number one overall.
